Livestock Treatment Logbook

The Livestock Treatment Logbook is approved as a narrowly focused, voice-first livestock treatment recording application designed for fast field use and offline operation.

The approved product architecture retains the existing livestock treatment database and workflow and applies the commercial Free/Pro model as an access and capacity layer rather than creating a separate version of the application.

Commercial access principle: Free-plan capacity restrictions apply to creation of restricted records. Existing permitted records remain available for viewing, editing, searching and export in accordance with the approved application architecture.

The commercial model is approved as a capacity-limited freemium application with an optional Livestock Treatment Logbook Pro subscription.

Approved Free-plan model:

• 25 successfully saved lifetime treatment events

Product batches do not independently consume a master-product allowance. Archived products and locations do not consume active capacity, while historical treatment references are retained. Deleting a treatment does not restore the consumed lifetime treatment allowance.

Approved Pro model: Pro removes the applicable creation-capacity limits.

The Livestock Treatment Logbook application has been established in App Store Connect and the application name has been reserved. App Store collateral and release material have been prepared during the Project. The Privacy Policy has been published.

Product support requirements have been recognised, but a final Product Owner-approved public support FAQ and escalation framework has not yet been recorded within this governance register. Do not publish invented support procedures.

Livestock treatment information is stored locally as part of the application's offline-first architecture. The developer does not receive the user's livestock treatment records as part of the approved application architecture.

Optional App Store purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple. The developer does not receive the user's full payment-card details. Apple may provide transaction status and subscription-entitlement information required to activate and manage paid functionality.

Privacy Policy: Published.

Subscription disclosure: Approved for inclusion within the Privacy Policy.

Important change control: This approval applies only to the presently approved implementation. Any future introduction of analytics, advertising, cloud synchronisation, developer-hosted user accounts, external AI processing, crash-reporting SDKs, telemetry or third-party data processors requires a fresh privacy and App Store privacy review before release.

Approved Apple services position: The approved commercial implementation uses Apple's StoreKit 2 framework for product retrieval, purchase processing, transaction verification, current entitlement determination, purchase restoration, transaction updates and subscription management.

Purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. The approved architecture uses Apple-verified transaction data as the authority for creation of a Pro entitlement. A local cache may preserve a previously verified entitlement for offline operation but must not independently create a paid entitlement.

Third-party SDK position: No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK has been approved in the governance records currently available. Do not interpret this statement as proof that the final binary has been technically audited for every embedded dependency.

Approved technical controls:

• Existing user records remain accessible following subscription expiry
• Subscription state must be based on StoreKit-verified authority
• Durable locally cached entitlement may only mirror previously verified StoreKit state

• Release migrations must preserve the existing persistent store and records

Retention position: Treatment-history retention is an intended core function of the application.

Deletion position: Users may delete records through application functionality where provided; deletion of a treatment does not restore free-plan lifetime treatment capacity.

Livestock Treatment Logbook is distributed through the Apple App Store. Where paid features or subscriptions are offered, purchases are processed using Apple's In-App Purchase system. StoreKit may provide transaction, subscription, renewal, expiry, refund, revocation and entitlement information required for application functionality.

Unless a separate custom End User Licence Agreement is published for the application, Apple's applicable Standard End User License Agreement is intended to govern the licensed application together with the developer's applicable policies.
